Garden Design & Planting

The right plants do more than just complement your landscape.

Every site is different. Different soil. Different light. And different exposure to the elements. The key is to not only meet your aesthetic goals, but to do so by matching the right plants—flowers, shrubs, trees—with your site's unique characteristics.

There are also other considerations. Trees and shrubs can paly a role in protecting your yard from the sun—making your yard cooler. They can also act as a noise barrier or provide privacy.

Other considerations include how much upkeep you are prepared to provide as well as the aesthetic results you want to acheive. For a discussion on some of the styles you may want to consider read our Blog Post "A Landscaping Style Idea File" from Thursday, March 28, 2013.

Depending on your vision, your garden design may include any of the following:

  • flowers
  • trees
  • shrubs
  • speciality grasses
  • flower urns
  • raised flower boxes
  • vines

…and just about anything else that grows that will help us to create your dream outdoor space.
